THE ENCOUNTER

The four members of Quars D'una met in 2012 in Barcelona during their studies at Escola Massana. Sandra Llusà Maria Diez, Clara Niubò and Carla Garcia now form the collective Quars d'una. They live and work in Barcelona.

UNITED & UNIQUE

Although fundamentally unique, their respective approaches share a common interest for the one-offs, for the jewel conceived as an instrument of communication and a language element.

SEE THEIR WORKS ?

The gallery is pleased to present all the works created by the collective for the Sense Mesura project on the occasion of the exhibition devoted to Tools during the 2017 edition of Paris Design Week.

The topic that unites us nowadays, but one that (in essence) has always united us, is the tool. Every artistic proposal is determined by a previous phase: the creative way in which we observe everything that surrounds us. In our case, we are surrounded by tools, those instruments which work as an extension of our hands and take on a life of their own. Sense Mesura is a project that aims to visualize our personal relationship with these utensils, the perfect mediators to think about jewellery and art.Quars d'una
