Castello Hansen creates jewellery with simple, minimalist forms yet very expressive , and jewelry as a phenomenon in its own right is his favorite subject matter: « I regard jewellery to be purely visual and tactile media defined by its own phenomenology and as such only capable of communicating symbolically'. (...) There are no limits to what we can know about jewelry, about this phenomenon and its culture, and it is impossible to predict the nature of the creative possibilities waiting to be discovered if we search for them with an open mind". My work " is an investigation into the latent creative potentials that emerge when crossing the boundaries between the different techniques and media used in jewelry making".
