Born in 1984 in Glasgow, Scotland, Paul Adie lives and works in Munich. After a BA (Hons) in foreign languages (Spanish and Russian) at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, he decided to focus on contemporary jewelry. He first graduated in «Artistic Jewel» from Escola Massana in Barcelona, under the direction of Ramón Puig Cuyàs then continued his training in Munich and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts.
In 2016, he was one of the finalists of Talente (HMI, Munich) as well as of the Mari Funaki Award for Contemporary Jewelry, given by the Funaki Gallery, in Melbourne, Australia.
In 2018, his work was selected for the LOEWE Craft Prize and is currently exhibited at the Design Museum in London.
