Artemis Valsamaki
1978, Athens, Greece
Artemis Valsamaki graduated in 1999 with a degree in design after a three-year training course in visual communication, specialising in graphic arts. Between 2000 and 2003, she continued her studies, this time in handmade and industrial jewellery, at the Mokume school in Athens, where she obtained state certification in the “handmade jewellery” speciality. In 2004, she set up her own design studio in Athens.
Her work has won numerous awards and is regularly featured in exhibitions and galleries in Greece and abroad. Her work can be found in private and public collections, including the CODA Museum in Apeldoorn.
