Marie-Louise Kristensen

Marie-Louise Kristensen first studied sculpture at the Jagtvej School of Art in Copenhagen. She then discovered contemporary jewellery and studied at the Institute of Precious Metals at the School of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths in Copenhagen, graduating in 2004. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches jewellery design in Denmark and abroad. Since 2016, alongside Annette Dam, she has been exhibiting and promoting contemporary jewellery through their curatorial project Art Jewellery Copenhagen. Marie-Louise Kristensen regularly takes part in exhibitions in Denmark and abroad, in museums and galleries, and has on several occasions been selected for the annual exhibition of Munich’s Schmuck Messe. Her work is represented in several collections such as Danish Art Foundation and Designmuseum Denmark, Rian Designmuseum, Falkenberg, Sweden, Cominelli Foundation in San Felice, Italy and Munich Pinakothek der Moderne, Germany. In 2020, she had her first solo exhibition at the Koldinghus Museum, Denmark.
