Juanjo Garcia Martin

Juan José García Martín’s artistic approach lies at the crossroads of several disciplines, notably painting and music, which he has practiced indistinctly since a very young age.

A self-taught artist and newcomer to the international contemporary jewellery scene, he regularly takes part in events dedicated to jewellery: Inhorgenta in 2014 in Munich, Talents in 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany; Autor in 2017 in Bucharest, Romania; Joya in 2018 and 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. He was one of the winners of the 2018 and 2019 editions of the Gioielli in Fermento prize. His work has been featured in group exhibitions such as Chaos and Heart Failure organised by the Lille-based association Alliages. He is a regular contributor to the Moments festival and the digital magazine Staf Magazine, both dedicated to urban and alternative pop cultures. Juan José García Martín lives and works in Malaga, Spain.
