Silvia Walz

Silvia Walz graduated in Jewellery and Metal from the Fachhochschule Hildesheim in 1991, after studying for a year at the Escola Massana in Barcelona from 1988 to 1989. In 1988, she settled permanently in Catalonia and taught at the Escola Massana for over twenty years. Since 2008, she has coordinated the Joyas Sensacionales group, based at Taller Perill, Barcelona. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions in Spain, Europe, Quebec and the United States, and can be found in private and public collections such as the Muzeum Ceského Ráje in Turnov, Czech Republic ; the Helen Drutt Collection in Philadelphia, United States ; the Museu de les Arts Decoratives in Barcelona, Spain ; the Pahlman Collection in Helsinki, Finland ; and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Canada.
