Xavier Monclús

1966, Barcelona, Catalonia

Xavier Monclús studied the art of jewellery from 1986 to 1992 at the Massana School in Barcelona. Since then, his work has been regularly exhibited in galleries and museums in Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan. In addition to his artistic activity, he gives workshops and lectures in schools in Spain, France, England, Italy and Israel. He has also curated exhibitions in England and Spain. His work has been featured in numerous catalogues and publications dedicated to jewellery. His work can be found in public collections, including the Françoise Van Den Bosch Foundation in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona. Since 2013, he has lived and worked in Maó, on the Spanish island of Menorca.
